One of the most controversial paradigms after the sexual revolution of the 1950s was that both men and women would achieve sexual equality through having sex freely without the need to get married. By the 1990s, no one had to get married in order to have sex.

Likewise, many women in self-described modern societies, during the years 2005 and 2009, were making their sexual debut at the age of 15, according to the Face of Global, Sex Report. After losing their virginity, both men and women began to have a series of monogamous relationships with different people. What does this mean? They had relationships lasting less than one or two years with different partners, until in the end they were left alone, and very few got married and/or maintained a stable romantic relationship that lasted at least 10 years of married life together.

By around 2015, studies on relationships indicated that 50% of marriages ended in divorce. The reality for many women around the world is that after one or several failed relationships, they are abandoned, with or without children. Unfortunately, this emotional holocaust affects many women who, as they go through the terrible pain of being deceived, used, or abandoned, experience emotional periods that terribly affect their personal lives, their self-esteem, and their psychosocial functioning. Many women ultimately succumb to an emotional death because of these failures, to the point of living internally with their hearts immersed in sadness. There is nothing more in their hearts, but sorrow.

Hello, good afternoon. My name is Teresa Ruiz Pedersen from International Family Coaching, and I am here to help you overcome your emotional problems that have filled your heart with sadness.

For you and for any woman who has failed in her emotional life, this can be a very great pain that transcends from generation to generation, whether with her own children and with the sons and daughters of the family. In other words, this is a problem that, if you have come this far, you should study your problems and the emotional conditions you are going through. Do the exercises that we are going to do below so that you can redirect your emotional life and know your wounds.

Procedure

  • Audit your emotional process of failure. Ask yourself: Why did this happen to me? What happened to me? And what happened to me in my failed romantic relationships?
  • Make a list of all the mistakes you made as a person, woman, and head of the family in all your romantic relationships: the ones that went well for you, the ones in which you failed, the ones in which you were left, and the ones you left.
  • Analyze your own mistakes deeply.

In the end, you will realize that you have been part of the followers of these models of female sexual liberation, of these social behaviors that have been implemented in the world since the 1950s. However, no one forces you to continue following these models of having sex without commitment. If we analyze the historical aspect since the implementation of these models that many women have followed, such as Marilyn Monroe, it did not work for her. We all know that she was the sex symbol of her time in North American society and throughout the world. Despite her beauty and intelligence, she did not manage to form a family, she committed suicide, and she never had children. And so you can continue analyzing the examples of women who have followed these models. The only ones that work are those seen in movies or television series; nevertheless, if you analyze the biographies of the protagonists, the great majority, if not all of them, have failed in their family and emotional lives.

In conclusion, no one forces you to continue using that model of having sex without commitment to see whether it works for you, because you will easily reach the conclusion that this model of sexual freedom does not work. Therefore, self-analysis is an open door toward your emotional success and that of your children, if you have them, and those who will come.
